Overview

The Aylesbury Estate is a landmark regeneration project which will eventually deliver 3,500 new homes to form the largest estate regeneration in Europe. Half of which will be affordable homes with a new community facility and extensive new public open space.

The first development site will comprise of 84% homes for social rent, including 54 extra care units, and seven homes for people with learning difficulties.

As well as improving the local environment, the partnership between Southwark Council and Notting Hill Genesis will also provide a wide range of job and training opportunities for Southwark residents, including 224 sustained jobs, 98 apprenticeships and 105 training places.
